Mindfulness for Beginners

Come learn the basics of mindfulness meditation in a supportive environment. Our guided meditations are beginner friendly and will interweave elements of mindful self-compassion with a variety of attention based practices. No experience necessary. Drop-in friendly and led by a certified facilitator.

Mindful Meditation w/the Asian Resource Center

Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 at 11:15am - 11:45am

Come practice mindful meditation as a community in the ARC. Practicing meditation can help manage stress, as well as improve memory and focus. Certified facilitator Michael "Maka" Takahara will lead us in guided meditation each week. No particular experience or beliefs are necessary. Come every week or just when you can! Co-hosted by EOP and the Asian Resource Center (ARC), open to all.

Tired? Come learn how to prioritize sleep and optimize your daily living! Each week, we will offer a unique workshop about sleep science and guide you through practices such as stretching, journaling, and meditation.
