Sven Rundman is serving as the Associate Director of Prevention for Health & Wellness. Sven was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia before spending his teen years in the Washington DC metro area. He received his B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University and his MSW in Organizational Leadership from the University of Tennessee. Sven's interests include cultivating healthy expressions of manhood, preventing behaviors that cause harm to oneself or others, and building inclusive environments where connection and care are valued. Before transitioning to the Health & Wellness team, Sven spent 6 years working at UCSB's Campus Advocacy, Resources, & Education. Sven enjoys hanging out with his family, his two cats Earl and Ruth, drumming, and loves spending time outside.
