The UCSB Library is a Health & Wellness partner to support student wellbeing. Our partnership includes nap pods, all-access microwaves, Study Break during finals, and an online wellbeing library collection.

The UCSB Department of Recreation provides programs, services and facilities which promote an active, balanced lifestyle that contribute to the development of social, emotional and physical health essential to long-term wellbeing.

Active Minds are the UCSB chapter of the national organization, Active Minds. Their mission is to reduce the stigma attached to mental health disorders and make getting help easier and more accepted.

The Residential Housing Association is an Office of Student Life registered organization whose members are all residents in the Residence Halls. With over 350 students in the Building Councils and Coordinating Board, RHA is one of the best ways to get involved on campus.

Food, Nutrition, and Basic Skills Partners

 

UCSB Sustainability approaches environmental issues head on and innovates solutions to improve the environment, fostering a culture of sustainability.

University UM Church and UCSB partnered in creating a community edible Garden. Everybody is invited to help plant as well as harvest.

The Associated Students (AS) appoints elected student leaders to voice student concerns and express student opinion to the UCSB administration, UC system, our community, and state and local governments.

The Associated Students Food Bank is a student-run, student-led service at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Their primary focus is ensuring friendly, confidential service to UCSB students in need of food and toiletries.

In collaboration with the College of Engineering, the Department of Health and Wellness is proud to offer programming and resources to Engineering students. Established in 2018, this partnership began with the intention of engaging with a student population that is less centrally located to campus-wide resources. This includes the implementation of egg chairs in the EUCR (Engineering Undergraduate Conference Room), as well as outreach and engagement at the quarterly "study break" prior to final exams. 

The Department of Health and Wellness is delighted to partner with the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management to bring resources to graduate students. In 2019, Bren seniors allocated their class gift to making health and wellness resources accessible to its students. Since then, our department has been dedicated to addressing the health topics that are of upmost importance to them. 

The Department of Communications is currently partnered with the Department of Health and Wellness to bring essential resources to graduate students. We are excited to cater to student needs, and educate students about the campus-wide resources that are available to them. Additionally, we are proud to provide students with egg chairs to create accessible safe spaces for stress reduction.

The Department of Health and Wellness is happy to partner with the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Through our outreach, we seek to provide outreach to graduate students to make resources more accessible to students.
